Velo Shaders (Beta)

Iris and OptiFine-style shader packs can't run on Minecraft's new Vulkan renderer. Velo Shaders can: they're built for it, with Sodium, on 26.2 and 26.3. Turn them on under Rendering > Velo Shaders.

• Real sun and moon shadows from every block, soft far from what casts them, sharp up close - and from players, mobs and your cosmetics too. Your own shadow follows you in first person, even across the clouds when you fly.
• Volumetric clouds, god rays and haze, a new sky with an animated sun, moon phases, stars, the Milky Way, shooting stars and aurora.
• Light in colour: soul fire glows cyan, redstone red, sea lanterns cool white. Hold a torch and it lights up around you. Auras glow too.
• Water and lava of their own: waves, reflections, flowing water that runs downstream, wet ground and puddles in the rain, underwater and in-lava looks.
• Waving leaves, grass and flowers, glowing light sources and particles, bloom and colour grading.

• 8 presets: Realistic, Cinematic, Golden Hour, Fantasy, Moody, Clear, Vanilla+ and Performance. Nights stay readable in all of them.
• Every detail is a setting: shadows, fog, sky colours, sun and moon size, clouds, water colour, bloom, contrast and more - start from a preset and make it yours.
• Off means off: with Velo Shaders turned off nothing of them runs, your FPS is exactly what it was.

Anti Coords Leak

Start sharing your screen or the game on Discord and within about a second every coordinate on your screen turns into Minecraft's scrambled magic text: chat, F3, your HUD, waypoints, minimaps, Litematica's menus and area editor and any other mod. Stop sharing and they come back. Chunk and region numbers are hidden too - they lead to your base just like coordinates.

• Only coordinates: FPS, ping, your GPU ("RTX 3060"), versions, player names and other numbers stay readable.
• Automatic (default): only while Discord shares. On: always hidden. Off: never.
• Linux: Discord, Vesktop, WebCord and Legcord on PipeWire. Windows: when Discord captures through Windows' screen capture (Windows 10 2004 and newer).

Anti Deepslate

Deepslate and stone turn their texture by position, and ores, bedrock, tuff, gravel, diorite, andesite and granite follow the world seed - one screenshot can be enough to find a base. Anti Deepslate draws them all as netherite blocks (or any block you pick). Only how they look changes. Anti Coords Leak switches it on by itself while you share.

Schematics & Redstone Mode

• Save as .litematic (Ctrl+S) and convert any schematic between .veloschem and .litematic, so friends on Litematica can load your builds. Search when loading (Ctrl+L).
• Wrong blocks only show where you can see them, and a panel next to your crosshair shows what should be there and what you placed.
• New setting Show schematic water / lava.

Fixes & improvements

• 26.3: joining a world, the Singleplayer screen and some menus could crash or hang - fixed.
• Skins: changing your skin in the Locker now shows on servers and in singleplayer right away, and the launcher's account head follows your current skin.
• The launcher's 3D character shows the outer skin layer in its real colours (it looked greyish).
• Title screen: buttons from mods like Flashback's Replays look like the rest of the menu, and the menu shrinks to fit instead of running off small windows.
• GPU Utilization HUD shows real numbers (it said 0%).
• /velo toggle <module> switches any module from chat or a command keybind.
• The launcher uses less memory while it sits in the background.
• Anti Farm Lag is now off by default, and its notifications too.
• Discord overlay on Windows works with the new launcher, and player names above heads no longer vanish from 48 blocks on hologram servers.
