Emotes: 31 of them, with real music

Emotes are in the Velo Store now - 31 at launch. Hold B in game for your emote wheel, point at one and let go (or press 1-8). Arrange your wheel in the Locker's Emotes tab. Other Velo players see and hear your emotes, and you theirs.

Dances with real music

The dances play actual music, and the moves are timed to the beat - the dance is stretched to the track's tempo and its hits land on the drums, so it stays in sync for as long as you keep dancing.

• Floss, Griddy, Shuffle, Y.M.C.A. (the letters light up above you), Hip Hop and Breakdance with a boombox next to you
• Silly Dance and Groove, now with music too
• Take the L - an L on your forehead, for every player you just beat

Effects made for Velo

No vanilla particles: confetti, shockwave rings, lightning, hand trails, ghosts, bats, snow, hearts and floating letters - drawn like our auras. Every sound is made for Velo too.
